How do I pick up my race packet?

If you are unable to pick up your packet in person, someone else can pick it up for you as long as they have your registration email with the QR code and confirmation number.

Where is the race taking place and where can I park?

The event will be held in the festival area between the NSU Library and the Alvin Sherman Library. Please plan to arrive early as street closures may impact traffic patterns. The address you can use for navigation purposes is 3100 Ray Ferraro Jr. Blvd, Davie, 33314 . Parking is available at the garage adjacent to the library on the campus which is right next to the event location. Look for the Event Parking Ahead directional signs.

Can I bring lawn chairs?

Yes! Lawn chairs for the outdoor concert are permitted.

How can I share my race on social media?

The more you share, the more awareness you raise for the fight against childhood cancer. Share your pictures on social media from race day using the hashtag #ICareICure5K and don’t forget to tag @ICareICure and @AlexsLemonade on your posts.

Will there be raffles for prizes?

Yes! Our amazing sponsors and supporters have donated some wonderful prizes. The grand prize raffle is for a week-long stay in a lovely two-bedroom condo at the base of Park City Mountain in Park City, Utah. Raffle tickets can be purchased at packet pick-up or at the raffle tent next to registration.

Does the registration include beer and mimosas?

Guests who purchased the VIP tent pass will have access to both beer and mimosas inside the VIP tent. Everyone else is entitled to one beer per registrant. Both are limited to registrants who are 21 and over only. Please make sure to bring your identification. We want everyone to have fun, but more importantly we need everyone to be safe and drink responsibly.

Is there a chance this event will be canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic?

Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation is making every effort to put precautions in place to protect our participants and volunteers due to COVID-19. Because of the uncertainty of the virus, we reserve the right to make changes to our activities if we feel it is necessary to avoid putting anyone at potential risk of exposure or danger of any kind.
