A long-time Elk Grove dentist is zapping dog breath with the help of a new invention that she says will protect your pet's teeth for years to come.

Dr. Terri Speed launched her at-home dental tooth brushing kit in January.

"You don't have to be a dentist to do this," said Speed. "As long as you love your dog and your animal they will let you do anything."

Dr. Speed's dog dental kit has been such a success, that she is already creating one for cats too. She hopes her story inspires others to come up with their own products too.
