Harley Race's World League Wrestling will be hosting their next live event on Saturday, August 13 as a fundraiser for Stray Paws Rescue in St. Peters, MO. All items donated will be given to the Animal Rescue organization that helps animals find new homes in the area.
World League Wrestling will be hosting its first break after the Summer break on Saturday, August 13 at the Harley Race Wrestling Arena in Troy, MO. Summer Showdown will feature 5 great matches that will feature World League Wrestling stars that fans have grown to love. In addition, this event will double up as a fundraising event for a St. Peters based animal rescue agency - Stray Paws Rescue in St. Peters, MO.
World League Wrestling’s Summer Showdown will feature a main event that will see High Level Enterprise (Jon Webb and Jack Gamble) defending the WLW Tag-Team Championships against Dysfunction in a rematch from WLW Gold Rush. Other matches will be announced and will feature Camaro Jackson, Moses “The Deliverer”, Luke Anthony, Billy the Kidd, Rahim de la Suede, and more!
WLW wrestler Leland Race stated - “Animals are absolutely near and dear to our heart. On July 25, the area received a substantial amount of rain. This brought flooding along with it - and very quickly. We are wanting to help out the animals that were affected by these floods. The Stray Paws Rescue in St. Peters was devastated. Some of the animals couldn’t be saved, including some puppies. This broke our hearts. It’s our turn to help out.”
WLW will be giving away some items that are extremely rare for fans to see. They are asking for donations to be brought to the wrestling event on August 13 and in exchange - each person bringing an item will receive a free raffle ticket to try and win one of these items. Items that can be donated to the rescue include dog muzzles, anti-licking soft cone collar, medicated dog shampoo, ear rinse, antimicrobial wound and skin spray, stainless steel puppy bowls, pet thermometer, pet heating pad, dog beds, pre and probiotic powders for kittens, disposable medical gowns, disposable shoe covers, flea treatments for dogs, slip leashes, dog dental chews, and more.
