Antwerp Elementary School Supplies List

**Mark all supplies clearly with the first and last student name including clothing and shoes.

**NO MECHANICAL PENCILS or individual sharpeners are allowed in elementary.

**Sharpen all pencils at home before the first day of class.

**Trapper Keepers are not allowed in elementary.

**Wheeled backpacks do not fit in cubbies or lockers

Sturdy folder to carry student papers and art work each day in (durable)

1 box Crayola Markers (10 count classic/basic colors)

1 box (8 count) Large Crayola Crayons (classic/basic colors)

2 large Elmer’s Glue Stick (purple)

1 change of clothes (labeled with your child’s name) in a large zip lock baggie–in case of any accidents

1 large backpack to fit folders and daily work in it

open or zip-top backpack (at least 14”x16”) – Book bag should be easily manipulated by students & large enough to hold 10×12 papers

4 Expo brand (low odor) dry erase markers

hand sanitizing gel 8 oz or larger

1- 24-pack of Crayola Crayons

2- 4oz. Elmer’s white school glue

We recommend that all students in GRADES K thru 6TH BRING TENNIS SHOES to keep here at school in their locker for PE class.

Classes will begin the school year with outdoor sports. These skills and sports are practiced in the grass. To avoid grass stains on new shoes, we recommend students bring an older pair of gym shoes to change into for outdoor P.E.

Divine Mercy Catholic School appreciates Gary and Jane Benschneider Family Farms. Their grant for America’s Farmers Grow Communities application was awarded recently, and the school received a $5,000 grant. The money will be used to purchase materials for the school 4H program and S.T.E.M. materials.
